Chatteris is a great place to live, with a great Christmas lights show and the wonderful work of Chatteris in Bloom. But we need better access to NHS doctors, nurses and dentists, more shops on the High Street, more parking, better roads, and more public transport. Litter and anti-social behaviour need to be addressed too. That’s what local residents tell us, and we know it’s true because we’re local residents too!

Labour in Chatteris is campaigning for all the improvements listed above, and they are starting to be delivered by our Labour Mayor for Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, and the Labour Councillors on Cambridgeshire County Council. Some Labour town councillors and District Councillors would help, too.

If you want to help our campaigning – delivering leaflets, talking to voters, intervening on social media or helping us come up with even better ideas – get in touch through the Contact Us page of this website. If you want to join the Labour Party, you can do that online too.

This month, we’re campaigning to get Jamie Eames elected to the Cambridgeshire County Council, and to get Anna Smith elected as Mayor of the Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Combined Authority. Election day is Thursday 1 May. If you want to get involved in that, use the Contact Us page or enter your postcode in the Events page to find out where we are canvassing.
