The Labour Party candidate for the Police and Crime Commissioner in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough on 2nd May 2024, Anna Smith, came to visit North East Cambridgeshire on 6th April 2024.  CLP Chair and March Town Councillor, Martin Field, was on hand to show Anna around March including the closed police station, and she met with Nigel Lambert and Nick Lambert from ‘Greetings’ in the town to discuss retail crime and other issues.  Many thanks to members Adrian Edgington, Grant Barlow, Sebastian O’Keefe  and Peter Gilman who joined Janet O’Keefe and Neil Shailer (County Councillor) at various points throughout the afternoon and early evening.  Anna hopes to come back to our CLP area before polling day to meet more of the local residents.
